A modern old age home with a capacity of 100 beds was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at Ramnagar in Varanasi. This old age home has been built by Northern Coalfields Limited under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The operation of this old age home has been handed over to Tara Sansthan, Udaipur by the Varanasi Social Welfare Department, which is being run by Tara Sansthan in collaboration with Signature Global Foundation. It is a three-storey building, offering 6 dormitories with 12 beds each and 46 double occupancy rooms. Residents also have a hall for religious activities such as prayers and prayers. Separate medical wards are also provided for male and female residents. A dining hall with a capacity to accommodate 84 people and a modern modular kitchen has also been set up in the old age home. Presently, a total of 106 residents are residing in this old age home, for whose care and management a dedicated staff of 30 members is working.
